The Bioscope Group is organizing the Bioscope Summer Courses in Proteomics in June 2016, in Caparica (Lisbon, Portugal), as follows:
 
June 15th-17th 2016
Hands-on course in ultrafast sample treatment for proteomics
 
June 20th-22th 2016
Hands-on course in sample preparation using nanoparticles for proteomics 
  

The courses costs is 450 euros/person and there are reduced prices for groups with 2 or more persons.

The course is 80% hands-on in the laboratory and 20% theory.

The organisers have managed a hotel (4 stars) by just 50 euros/night with breakfast included.

The Nobel Prize in Medicine 2015 was awarded to researchers in epidemiology : William Campbell (Ireland), Satoshi Omura (Japan) and Youyou Tu (China). They were rewarded for their work against parasitic infections and malaria.
William Campbell and Satoshi Omura together were rewarded for "for their discoveries concerning a novel therapy against infections caused by roundworm parasites" and Youyou Tu  for "her discoveries concerning a new therapy against malaria," said the Nobel jury.
